More about the Crowdbotics Innovation Map
At Crowdbotics, we have daily conversations with entrepreneurs, domain experts, and executives about how to bring their great ideas to life. This year we began curating this data and compiling it into quarterly reports to help surface app development trends and opportunities in hopes that it would help more people across all industries finally choose to bring their ideas to life.
In each quarterly report, we highlight sectors where we saw innovation thriving.
Here are some key highlights from the Q3 InnovatIon Map from Crowdbotics:
App demand remained fairly steady by industry in Q3, with the exception of the Entertainment sector, which decreased by 35%. In Q2, Entertainment was the sector with the biggest volume, which could have been connected to waning worries about the pandemic and a general desire to return to normalcy.
The cost to build the top 15 most in-demand app types shifted dramatically based on our platform’s modular code coverage for individual use cases.
Despite a Q3 surge in the e-commerce and retail sectors, E-Commerce apps actually tapered off slightly in Q3. This is because online sellers are diversifying their tech stacks beyond core e-commerce with complementary services like Social, Content Management, and owned Delivery features.
